- 1 大衞曰、掃羅家尚有遺存者乎、我緣約拿單故、將施仁慈於彼、
- 2 掃羅家有僕名洗巴、或召之見大衞、王曰、爾洗巴乎、曰、僕是也、
- 3 王曰、掃羅家尚有人乎、我以上帝之仁慈待之、洗巴曰、約拿單尚有一子、跛者也、
- 4 王曰、彼何在、曰、在羅底巴亞米利子瑪吉家、
- 5 大衞王遣人自羅底巴亞米利子瑪吉家、攜之而至、
- 6 掃羅孫、約拿單子米非波設詣大衞、伏地而拜、大衞曰、米非波設歟、曰、爾僕在此、
- 7 大衞曰、毋懼、我緣爾父約拿單故、必施仁慈於爾、以爾祖掃羅之田、悉反於爾、爾可恆食於我席、
- 8 米非波設拜曰、僕何人斯、若此死犬、而得爾之眷顧乎、
- 9 王呼掃羅僕洗巴曰、凡屬掃羅及其家者、我已咸賜爾主之子、
- 10 爾與爾子爾僕、必爲之耕田、納其所產、使爾主之子有糧可食、惟爾主之子米非波設、必恆食於我席、洗巴有子十五人、僕二十人、
- 11 洗巴謂王曰、我主我王所命、爾僕必悉行之、米非波設乃食於王席、與王子同、
- 12 米非波設有幼子名米迦、凡居洗巴家者、皆爲米非波設之僕、
- 13 米非波設居耶路撒冷、恆食於王席、二足俱跛、
